The HCG Diet Protocol (The Steps)
The HCG diet plan is not an ordinary diet as it does involve the addition of the hormone HCG and as such does require more of a strict protocol than many other diets would call for. It is fairly essential that any person who is on this diet and wishes to have a high success rate and achieve the maximum amount of effectiveness follows the protocol that is set out for the HCG diet. The diet must be followed as it is written out and a person must also be diligent about the HCG injections to ensure that everything is being done right so that this individual will not only loss weight, but will also not suffer any adverse side-effects as a result of the HCG diet.
As far as the meal plan goes, there are set things that a person can eat for breakfast, for lunch, and for dinner. This by no means signals for a person to eat the same thing for the same meal each day, but rather the HCG diet has certain options that a person can choose from for each meal each day. The options are all healthy foods, but the fact that it offers the person an option will make a person feel less stuck and controlled by a diet which can lead to a higher success rate in the long run.
For breakfast a person can choose between tea or coffee and can put at most a tablespoon of milk in it. The tea and coffee can be consumed in any quantity as each have little to no caloric value and can help fill a person up and get him or her started off on the right foot for the day.
For lunch a person can choose between one hundred grams of veal, chicken, beef, lobster, crab or shrimp. In addition, a person can choose one vegetable from a list of about fifteen vegetables. A person can also have either one bread stick or one piece of Melba toast to make the meal slightly more feeling with the inclusion of a bread product. A person can also choose between a fruit, but must have a controlled portion of it not just eat, however much of that fruit he or she craves.
For dinner time a person can have the same options as for lunch time. These are both balanced meals that will be plenty filling especially when taken in the context with the hormone HCG which will suppress an individual’s appetite.
A person must also take the proper dosage of the hormone HCG and should check with his or her doctor that it is in fact healthy and the doctor would recommend it for this individual. This hormone should be taken for no more than forty days but should be taken daily by an individual who is on the diet in order for it to be as optimally beneficial as it can be.
Any person following the HCG diet should be sure to follow the instructions closely or it will not be as effective as it should be and could potentially lead to negative health effects.
