We live in a climate of ideas or “memes” that the way we act. There are a number of counterproductive memes that have been introduced into our American society that we hold on to what we believe for difficult problems. Let’s talk about which I often encounter when talking about weight loss.

If you aim at the scientific studies of large population groups in different countries, especially those who want a simple traditional diet, have maintained the look primarily plant-based food sources, find some common factors:

* Obesity is very rare

* Cardiovascular disease is very rare, even in people in their 80s and 90s

* Cancer is extremely rare

These are very different results than one among the Americans. What if you look at it as a hard target, a very new and man-made kind of diet to take to find food? The standard American diet that is advertised constantly is essentially an attempt to slyly that has sold to the public, and in the long run, it is otherwise visible to us in many ways.

Expensive medical solutions for simple problems

For all the money we spend on high-tech medical care, even in those with the best care – for example, well-paid employees or career bureaucrats – we see, certain diseases as major causes of death and disability, seen rarely in simpler societies, eating a whole foods, plant-based diet.

And yet, when presented with these facts, many people will reply: “Oh, I could not give up meat” or “I will not give up my favorite foods …”

This is a major reason why these people and many like them is with a growing level of obesity. This is of great importance, until they end their lives with diabetes, heart disease, stroke and perhaps cancer.

This is a high price for freedom, a certain way to pay to eat, but it is their choice. Anything I can do when a friend, is to present the evidence. It really is amazing how the mind prove what I say, even without looking at the facts discount. That’s the power of memes.
